Fun

I went for SIB service last evening and joined a few of Vincent’s cellmates for dinner at Teluk Gong. Seriously, I don’t know about this place at all. Fay says they have nice seafood there. YUMMY! I LOVE SEAFOOD!

I was terribly starving after church service and we reached the place at almost 9pm. We were waiting for another car to arrive before we can start having the dishes on our table. It took them about another 30-40 minutes to reach. Me, Fay, Wai Yi and Vincent filled our hungry tummy with  peanuts and fish keropok. When they have arrived, most of the dishes are served on our table. YUMMY YUMMY!!

Kam Heong Bamboo Lala

Deep fried squids

Nestum Prawns (two thumbs up for this)

Clam Meehoon

Sweet and sour crab – the one which makes us “hammering” them all over :)

Prawn Mantis in Spicy Soy Sauce

Deep fried Mantou

Assam fish

We were there because of:

The birthday boy – Kenny!

It is a great experience and I do hope I could visit there again! And thank you Vincent or Wai Yi for the treat (they didn’t want to take my share for the dinner). Thanks for the blessing!

My upcoming events –  WORK, WORK, WORK & STUDY!

There is one :) My company trip to Singapore/Batam to visit one of the barge ship. I’m gonna make a passport this Thurs. It is my first time going out from Malaysia. Kinda feeling excited :)

Happy 52nd Independence Day Malaysia!

This is a cool video :)

I spent my day with TJ at the Lake Titiwangsa for the first time. I like parks. :) It looked pretty similar with D.R. Park and Polo Ground (in Ipoh).

I took this at Level 15 in my condo. The morning view at 8.30am. It looked cloudy today. Purrrfect day for an outing!

There is also horse carriage ride.

Didn’t notice about the senget lamp post till I upload the picture here.

Looked like a tree reflection in the pond?

You’ve guessed it wrong! They are some green algae or some plant thingy inside it…eeeewww!!

There is a place where it is similar to roads with some road signs and pondok which made to be “Hospital”, Petrol Station (above), “Pejabat Pos” etc. The white girl above is sooo cute. She wants to pump petrol to her bicycle, and paid to the machine and said thanks. Such cuteness! I can’t stop giggling looking at her acts. Hee…

Boat paddling – RM 3 per ride (30 minutes).

There goes my holiday. *sigh* Gotta go back to work tomorrow. Sienz…

This is where I got down from RapidKL T418 bus.

Today went for the interview at Scope International at Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil. Seriously, it is just like a huge campus inside. Nothing much special about those places. The building I went wasn’t entirely occupied except for Scope International which almost occupied it. It was my first time to Bukit Jalil area. Seriously, the places there are a total stranger to me.

I should say I am not keen in today’s job (HR – Payroll Assistant). Most of the reasons are because – not a permanent one, no entitlements/benefits because it is ain’t a permanent vacancy, too far from where I am staying. However, I liked the manager so a lot compared to many other managers from my previous interviews.

Anyway, putting that aside, it was also my first time to Tony Roma’s. Well, I always wanted to go in but it is quite expensive kinda place to dine-in. But, Yin Wen said she will treat. So pai seh. She said because she received RM 300 as a book prize winner as she graduated with first class.

Our starter – bread with garlic butter

Our drinks – we realised we did not take pictures of the food/drinks because I was starving so I dived straight to those dishes as they arrived. As for Yen Chin, she was so thirsty that she started drinking lotsa of the drinks above. By the time we realised, we had finished our last few bites of the main course. So the following picture is what was remained over.

The food portion was big and we are clever enough to order only two main course and shared among us.

And, we remember to take picture of our desert :)

This is freaking delicious!!! :)

After that, we walked around a little, then we went to Jonker Sweets for some desserts and chat a little more. I totally miss them. Gonna meet up again for lunch tomorrow before Yen Chin goes off back to her hometown.

Boarding on UTAR bus.

Went for MOHE Career Fair on Sunday with Jasmine, Sherine, Kah Fai, Sheena and Steven with few others.

It was my first time there. There wasn’t much companies (as of I am interested of) and no accounting firms there. More of Malay firms and SMEs, with only few big firms like Sime Darby, F&N, Walton International, Petronas, and Securities Commission – as of what I remembered.

My breakkie – Glass noodles (erm, doesn’t taste good).

View along the walkway.

Dirty river.

I tried this.

We all tried this – Me, Sheena, Jasmine and Sherine.

This is how the Hanna looks like after washing it.

We saw this ugly looking leeches…eewww…

We went to McD after the fair.

We had lotsa fries!

We tried this at the Mall. We went over and over again to try it

until the guard told us not to.

We got bored and sat down for another pic session.

Group pic.

It was rather fun, kinda like an outing. Though there wasn’t much to see in the fair but it was just fun hanging out with friends. I’m really gonna miss them all so much! My uni life. It all ended so fast. Too fast. Shifting out tomorrow. *sobs*

Went for a nice movie at Jusco Cheras Selatan with Weiqi, Kah Fai, Wendy, Shereen and Anthony.

I went off earlier with Weiqi to do some shopping and I’m sooo broke now! I’ve been looking for one that I could use it when I start working.Found one at the morning market, no doubt the cost is cheaper like RM28 but the quality was rather erm, not so good. Plus the zips pattern ran out of shape.

I had ice-cream, a nice dinner and bought some colour papers and glitter glues to make a card :)

And I’m going out tomorrow. I’m so happie – kinda forgot about my emo-ness on MADM. hehe

From left: Sherine, Alicia, Me

They are so “chun”!!! They opened a stall nearby the roadside, just right in front of Cypress. I saw them when I was on the way to meet Weiqi and Kah Fai for dinner. I supported them by getting one RM3.50 pasta. Not bad though. Go support them!!! They even provide delivery service.

*Janice is thinking of selling stuff too because it sounds so fun! Probably she should sell ice-cream. hee*

I only studied like 20% and spent my whole day eating, and slacking around. Argghhh…see…I can’t stay at home.

I ate chocolate, some keropok, went down to buy pisang goreng and popiah, made a cup of drink yada yada…Oh no…fattening.

I uploaded some pictures to my FB and had a good laugh myself as I upload them especially those crazy acts at last week’s cg at Joel’s. Here, have a glimpse of the good laugh that I had…haha *hope they won’t kill me by putting it down here..hehe*

First, we have two guys singing near the pool..

Secondly, we have Steven who keeps “kau lui” =.=”

Then, he serenades to other girls.

We have “banana” dance performance

We had Taekwando lessons too…

…which leads the rest to follow the steps being taught.

After serenading to girls, now Steven wants a guy…

And he got it!!!

I’m gonna miss all these fun.

[04:12 pm]

Date: 14/03/2009 (Sat)

Venue: LookOut Point Western Food, Hulu Langat

Occasion: A dinner celebration after VIVA by my supervisor, Ms Angelina.

This dinner was my second time to LookOut Point after the first time for Pearlyn’s birthday. It is a really nice place with nice KL view.

Fruit juice (large) @ RM8 – carrot milk which me & Weiqi shared

Tiramisu

The food there was nice. This time we went to a different place from the one I went previously and the drinks there are definitely nicer than the one we had during Pearlyn’s birthday. At least, they are don’t taste like “sugar water.”

Sizzling lamb chop (with cheese ham) @ RM18.90

Weiqi’s grilled fish chop @ RM 11.90

Most of us had sizzling set – either lamb or chicken. See the smokey effect of it? :)

The food taste ok. Not literally bad nor extra tasty. Just averagely ok. But, it is the place that I like most :)

A couple was having their wedding there too…at the restaurant next to us. So romantic :) as in to have a wedding at a place with nice view.

Desmond looks like a womanizer here…LOL!

Apart from that, I had my nails done. First time, I have all my fingers done so nicely. I did once only to both thumbs :) Ah well, just out of fun to finish up those stickers I’ve bought last time.

Last but not least, baby Gloria is soooo cute!! :) and adorable. Thank God she is not a superstar else probably she will charge me for taking lotsa pics on her…hehe…

Thank you Ms Angelina for the wonderful treat and the guidance given. :) (although some ways in certain perspective are not agreed by me, but as a student-teacher relation, she had done her part well as a supervisor despite on being a very demanding and strict one.)

I’m still very exhausted. This week is another hectic one to go. I need a long break to replenish my energy. Brain is soooo saturated and it had not been functioning so well lately.

[10:48 pm]

UTAR CF had a CNY reunion dinner yesterday at Seafood Restaurant Wang Chiew in SS2, PJ. It was a fantastic gathering, seeing quite a number of seniors that had graduated. However, we didn’t really get to mix around much with people from other campuses as most of us are sitting with our own campus gang in a table. Anyhow, I think the food there was rather good, except the “yee sang”.

This is our main dish (I don’t know what it is called) and the only dish that I took an upclose picture of, as most of us are reallllly starving by the time we were being served. The place was realllly pack!! We started eating at around 9pm.

Tadaaa~~ the food which we are almost finishing. We had butter squids, prawns, sweet & sour chicken, kangkung with fried belacan. The first dish above is a seafood mixture dish – prawns, squids, cuttlefish, fish and some “tao pok” in a mild yet nice creamy curry sauce.

People from my table

The “yee sang” dish

That’s my fingers :) since I don’t have a chopstick initially

“Looouuuuuu!”

Nancy, Angel, Riana, Me

Jo-Anne, Kevin, Suk Mun, Pohli, Kah Fai

Yunn Yuan, Jasmine, Yee Wei – big eaters!! hehe…actually, they just took the remaining “yee sang” from the big plate.

The full group pic!!

One quarter of the gang went for another “yum cha” session at Old Town. There we have more little chat with one another. Still, we are mostly with our clicks. But it was still fun afterall.

The three outcasts who don’t want to sit with us! Hmph! heee…

Relatively, I think it is somewhat relaxing to hang out after being so tied-up with my study workloads!!! More crazy schedules up ahead. :) Oh wells…
